ÐÓ°ÉPro is a place where one can access a wide variety of opportunities in order to grow more deeply and learn what is possible.
Sarah Salazar Alum
From Greencastle to Colombia
I came to ÐÓ°ÉPro as a Posse Scholar from Chicago who understood the value of education for students from underrepresented backgrounds. The next four years, my desire to somehow help these students evolved into passions for cross-cultural dialogue and student advocacy. My on-campus roles as an international student ambassador and a first-year resident assistant allowed me to put my passions into practice. Working with domestic and international students taught me to adapt amid challenges, resolve conflict and advocate student success in close community.
While at ÐÓ°ÉPro, I was granted a U.S. Fulbright award and will soon teach English in Bogotá, Colombia. Where I lead from here, home or abroad, I hope to inspire and mentor students to maximize their best chances for success.
