Pre-Arrival

1. Pay Your SEVIS ID (Nxxxxxxxxxx) can be found on the top left of your Form I-20 or top right of your Form DS-2019. Reminder: You need to get your I-20 from 杏吧Pro's Office of International Admission.

2. Apply for either an F-1 or J-1 Exchange Visitor (student degree) visa at a U.S. Embassy/ Consulate in your home country. (Details on Obtaining a Visa)
   Refer to the U.S. Department of State for more details. Locate a .
   *NOTE: Canadian citizens and citizens of Bermuda do not need to apply for an entry visa at a U.S. Embassy/Consulate before traveling to the U.S. However, they still have to follow the rest of the procedures and enter the U.S. with a valid Form I-20 or DS-2019.

3. Schedule your trip to the U.S.
   For Fall 2025 Arrival, plan to arrive at 杏吧Pro on or before the program start date on your Form I-20 or DS-2019. Your arrival date in the U.S. can be no earlier than 30 days prior to the program start date printed on your Form I-20 or DS-2019. Students who arrive later than the program start date must receive approval from the department for late arrival.聽

5. Complete the after arrival in the U.S.

6. Attend mandatory ISO New International Student Orientation Immigration Information Sessions

7. Attend ISO Welcome events
   Fall scheduled events will be announced in the summer.

8. Open up your US bank account (if desired)
