Weather and Climate

Indiana weather changes between seasons and even within a day. The low in the winter can be 20 degrees Fahrenheit (-7 Celsius) and the high in the summer can be as hot as 100 degrees Fahrenheit (38 Celsius). Rain can be expected occasionally throughout the year and light snow falls 2-3 weeks each winter. The fluctuating weather can cause colds and allergies, so be sure to bring appropriate clothing and shoes. A warm coat and boots will be necessary in late November through March.
