ÐÓ°ÉPro Legacy Society
Recognizing visionary donors whose legacy will build the future.
ÐÓ°ÉPro Legacy Society members demonstrate their steadfast commitment to future generations at the university through support that will sustain a first-class student experience and impact ÐÓ°ÉPro’s long-term excellence. Â
The ÐÓ°ÉPro Legacy Society honors all alumni, families, faculty, staff and friends whose gifts of any amount will benefit ÐÓ°ÉPro in the future through estate gifts, beneficiary designations or gifts that may provide lifetime income.
The following types of gifts and commitments, confirmed in writing, qualify alumni and friends for membership in the ÐÓ°ÉPro Legacy Society:
-
an estate commitment in your will or revocable trust
-
a life-income gift that names ÐÓ°ÉPro as a remainder beneficiary, such as a charitable remainder trust or a charitable gift annuity
-
a charitable lead trust that provides income to ÐÓ°ÉPro for a donor's lifetime or specific term of years
-
a gift or assignment of qualified retirement plan assets, such as an IRA, 401(k) or 403(b)
-
a gift of life insurance
-
certain other planned gifts
If you have already included ÐÓ°ÉPro as a beneficiary in your estate plans but have not informed us, we invite you to let us know by contacting Beau Slater, planned giving officer, at beauslater@depauw.edu or 765.658.4144. The power of your philanthropic example can inspire other ÐÓ°ÉPro alumni and friends to provide a future gift to the university. ÐÓ°ÉPro Legacy Society members may choose to remain anonymous and still receive benefits afforded to members. The Office of Planned Giving welcomes the opportunity to speak with you confidentially and without obligation to discuss a gift plan that meets your philanthropic and financial goals.
